Oil of Cloves

by Caroline
(UK)

By dabbing or rubbing some clove oil on the gum and tooth area that the pain is coming from will relieve toothache.
It doesn't taste good but it works!

I've recently rediscovered this remedy having forgotten about it since my childhood days. We always had a small bottle of this to hand as I remember. You can easily buy clove oil, also referred to as oil of cloves, from a health shop or pharmacy and it is inexpensive.
