Cherries Work Great

by Katie

My father gets gout usually once a year or so, and when he feels it flaring up, we always go straight to the store to pick up cherries. If you start eating them as soon as the pain begins, the attack will be much less severe. And they don't have to be fresh cherries either. Canned cherries or cherry pie filling works also!
