Health Benefits of Echinacea

There are many wonderful health benefits of echinacea! The Native Americas discovered its medicinal properties by observing elk seeking out and consuming the plant when sick. Echinacea Side Effects: Side effects are generally associated with allergies. Do not take echinacea if an allergy to ragweed, chrysanthemums, or asters is present. Side effects may be worse if you have asthma or allergies. Occasionally, echinacea may cause temporary numbness or tingling on the tongue. Other possible side effects include nausea, fever, stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness or muscle aches, however, it is generally considered safe for short-term use. 9
